Overview
Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (Gage R&R) is a key statistical tool used to assess the accuracy and consistency of measurement systems in quality control. This course focuses on helping participants evaluate how much variation in data is due to the measurement system itself—specifically from the measuring instrument (repeatability) and the appraiser (reproducibility). Using Excel templates and practical case studies, participants will perform Gage R&R studies, interpret statistical outputs, and apply improvements to strengthen data reliability in manufacturing and process control environments.
